Following his popular 2022 remix of “Stay” by Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber, a fusion of drum & bass with ‘80s elements, Kodat released The Weeknd’s “Is There Someone Else?” in the same style, which was immediately featured on radio playlist “Diplo’s Revolution” on Sirius XM and handpicked by Diplo for his official Spotify Formula 1 playlist.

Kodat went viral again in March for his Jersey Club meme remix of Will Smith’s Oscar scandal, which hit 100k plays within 3 days on Instagram and got picked up by global media platforms MixMag and EDM.com.

The Frenchie had an equally eventful 2021, dropping remixes of Ariana Grande’s “Bad Idea” and El Alfa’s “La Mama De La Mama” which went viral on TikTok.

He was then approached by DJ Eva Shaw to remix her single “Pop Out”, which went on to become the official soundtrack of the horror movie “Dreamcatcher”.
